Extreme WeatherPlus™ Add-ons enhance our standard outdoor display cases sold across North America. While we still offer our wide range of styles and sizes without these upgrades, some extreme locations need them to better handle local weather conditions. Below are the upgrades we include;
- Drip-Edge Roof
The thin aluminum roof provided has a slight bend at the end to help mitigate water from entering any possible exposure through the door or hinges when closed. The roof comes with a high-bond adhesive tape for mounting onto the top of the metal cabinet. When installing the WeatherPlus™ case, you can decide if you want to add the protective roof or leave it off. You can always install it at a later date or remove it altogether after initial installation. - Rubber Gaskets
One of the bigger enhancements is the installed rubber gaskets placed on the inside perimeter of the door cavity. Though not waterproof or 100% water-tight, it greatly mitigates water from entering the case. - Side Vents
Fin-style vents are installed on both sides of the case. This allows the upper portion of the case to release any condensation buildup and allows for airflow to properly assist in providing a clear view of the contents inside. - Additional Weep Holes
In addition to the side Fin Vents, we also provide a total of 4 weep holes at the bottom of the case, which allow for any condensation or possible water build-up to release with ease. The bottom holes are positioned slightly in front of the backer board and then behind it, for maximum breathability. - Forbo™ Bulletin Board Backer
Offered in 15+ Colors, this bulletin board is self-healing, will not crumble, and is constructed to hold up in most weather conditions. Forbo is produced from natural and renewable raw materials. A combination of oxidized linseed oil, rosin, and finely ground cork gives this bulletin board its flexibility and resilience. This combination results in a product with exceptional durability and a sustainable footprint. Its strength and resilience make it an ideal material for pin boards, notice boards, and all other surfaces where ideas and information are exchanged.
- Post Dimensions: 2" x 2" x 96" (8 Feet High)
- Posts are attached to the case through the sides. Pre-drilled holes will be provided on the posts for easy display case mounting
- Posts should be secured at least 3 feet into the ground for proper support.

XL Standing Enclosed Bulletin Message Boards for Harsher Outdoor Conditions

Extreme WeatherPlus™ Add-on Features
With harsher weather in many outdoor locations and requests for stronger and more protected message board display cases to meet the challenges of outdoor environments that deal with extreme weather conditions, these enclosed display cases were designed with features to take on these harsher outside conditions.
- The Drip-Edge Aluminum Roof is supplied with adhesive tape for installation directly on top of the cabinet. The slight overhang directs dripping water away from vulnerable areas where water could enter the case. Once the bulletin board cabinet is mounted, you can choose whether to add the Roof during installation.
- FORBO™ Bulletin Board is a self-healing cork board constructed to withstand crumbling and reduce water absorption and color fading from direct sunlight. This is a much-improved option over traditional cork backing. Forbo comes in 15+ Colors, including popular tan.
- Side Vents: Help reduce condensation buildup towards the top of the case.
- Weep Holes: More cabinet weep holes were added to the bottom of the case to reduce and release humidity, condensation, and any water buildup that may have accumulated from trapped air.
- Rubber Gaskets were placed on the inside door cavity to create a seal and help mitigate most water from coming in due to wind-forced rains.
The interior self-healing FORBO™ cork bulletin pinboard offers exceptional durability and sustainability. Use standard pushpins to display various printed materials, including posters, restaurant menus, advertising, maps, signs, photos, schedules, announcements, and messages.

The hinged single-door display case comes fully assembled. Just bolt the two pre-drilled, 8 ft. Aluminum Posts to the sides of the 4" deep exterior enclosed bulletin board cabinet (Bolts included). Securing the 2" x 2"x 96" posts 3 ft. in-ground will create a sturdy free-standing display case.

This product is warranted against all defects in material or workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of the original purchase. This warranty does not cover replacement due to customer misuse or abuse.
Products found defective in material or workmanship within this period of time will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the manufacturer. The defective product, however, must be returned by the customer prepaid for examination and inspection. Once repaired or replaced, outbound shipping costs will be incurred and charged to the customer.
Limitations
The manufacturer is not responsible for repair or replacement of product(s) subjected to abuse, unintended use, or impairment caused as a result of the following:
- Unauthorized repairs, accident, alteration, misuse, neglect, fire, flood, or product impairment resulting from wide-ranging field wear and tear, such as chips or tarnish over time.
- Altered, modified, misused, vandalized, or improperly installed products.
Please email our customer service team for an RMA (return authorization) number. No returns for warranty-related issues will be accepted without such authorization.
Return & Exchange Policy
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are missing any parts or products in your shipment, we must be notified within 30 DAYS of receipt of the order. If you need to return or exchange the item, please get in touch with us within 30 DAYS of receipt of your purchase. Items must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition, and in their original box/packaging. This product is subject to a restocking fee if returned for any reason other than damage. Upon proof of return shipping and inspection of the item, a credit will be issued, less a 30% restock fee and any outbound shipping costs incurred by Access Display Group Inc. You are responsible for arranging the return shipment to our production facility. Any customized product or order exceeding 2,500 dollars is non-returnable.

Shipment will be moved inside to a specific location. Please ensure that all doors and pathways are large enough for the product(s) ordered. Shipment will be unpacked and packing materials will be removed. Delivery by appointment.
How is my total delivery time determined?
The total delivery time for your order is calculated from the time your order is placed until the time you receive it. The diagram below shows how the Total Delivery Time is broken down into Lead Time to Ship and Shipping Time.
Lead Time is the time it takes from when you submit your order to when the product leaves the warehouse. This time is needed for products that are shipped to you directly from us or our vendors.The manufacturers need this time to fulfill your order and in some cases, custom build the product.
Shipping Time is measured from when your order leaves the warehouse to when it arrives at your building, office or home. The shipping time will vary depending on the service you choose. Typically standard freight ground service will take up to 7-10 business days, but your order may arrive sooner depending where the order is being shipped from and where it's shipping to.
